ART AROUND TOWN
Things to See & Do in Baltimore
Creative Alliance convenes some of the brightest old-time musicians, singers, and dancers in the country to celebrate where this music exists today. On Friday-Saturday, November 1213, join host artists Ken & Brad Kolodner for the Baltimore Old Time Music Festival. For more information on tickets and each evening's lineup, click the button below.
BEER RELEASE AND BOOK SIGNING
With J.M. Giordano and Checkerspot Brewing Co.
Join Checkerspot Brewing Company for the launch of a new, limited edition porter, "LAST CALL." This brew was inspired by the acclaimed book, We Used to Live at Night, by J.M Giordano — an award-winning photojournalist based in Baltimore. Giordano's book chronicles 25 years of the city at night. Swing by on Friday, November 12, from 5:008:00 p.m. to try the beer and get a book signed by the author. A limited number of books will be for sale. A portion of the proceeds from the new beer will go to benefit Baltimore Safe Streets — an evidence-based violence prevention and interruption program that works to reduce shootings and homicides in high violence areas. WHEN WOMEN SPEAK
A Spoken Word Event at Red Emma's
On Saturday, November 13, at 6:00 p.m., head over to Red Emma's Bookstore Coffeehouse for a spoken word event featuring Kiara Marie, Stephanie Conley-Webb, Kareemah Brent Williams, and Mariah Ayscue, with host Ameerah Shabazz-Bilal. Red Emma's is a worker-owned radical bookstore, vegan/vegetarian restaurant, and bar, so feel free to enjoy a snack or cocktail during the event. BURLESQUE AT CHARM CITY MEADWORKS
A Variety Show & Fundraiser
On Saturday, November 13, at 7:00 p.m., up-and-coming drag queen Floozy Carmichael is putting on a show of her own — and it's a fundraiser! This variety show at Charm City Meadworks includes drag performances, comedy acts, burlesque, and more. ART IN TIMES OF CRISIS
Full Circle Dance Company at Theatre Project
Baltimore’s Full Circle Dance Company is well-known for combining passion and virtuosity to tell stories that matter. On Saturday and Sunday, November 13 and 14, Full Circle will present "BRAVE: Art in Times of Crisis" at Baltimore Theatre Project. Deeply moved by real-world examples of courage and resilience, Full Circle’s multi-racial and multi-age ensemble of artists has created a performance aimed at both the mind and soul. MUSIC AT ST. DAVID'S
Recital & Evensong for Veterans Day
On Sunday, November 14, from 4:306:00 p.m., the folks at St. David's Episcopal Church in Roland Park will commemorate Veterans Day with a recital offered by composer Joshua Bornfield, followed by the Service of Evensong featuring Henry Purcell's "They that go down to the sea in ships."
Admission is free; a suggested donation benefits the musicians and music series. Masks and vaccinations are required to attend in person. The event will be also livestreamed on Facebook. For more information, click below.

The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar has beloved elements like hot food vendors and the Bazaar’s artisans. The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar continues maintaining public health regulations to provide a safe experience for all.  

The 44th season runs weekly, 7:00 a.m.12:00 p.m. on Sundays through December 19, 2021, with continuous adaptation to maintain health and safety.
