Things to See & Do in Baltimore
Tickets are on sale for the Under 500 event hosted by Maryland Art Place. Come partake in this annual holiday art sale! The event will be a hybrid in-person and virtual exhibition and art sale beginning on Friday, December 10, from 6:00–10:00 p.m. Artwork featured in the gallery will also be available online when the virtual gallery goes live on Saturday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m. For tickets and information, click the button below.
SHOP LOCAL AT THE MILL CENTRE
Plus, Meet the Artists & See Their Studios
Artists from the Mill Centre will open their Hampden studios to the public from 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, for Part 2 of their popular Art Crawl. The Shop Small Art Crawl provides an opportunity for arts and crafts lovers, serious collectors, and holiday shoppers to enjoy and purchase original art where it is created. VISIT BALTIMORE'S NEWEST REC CENTER
And Enjoy Activities for the Whole Family
Baltimore City Recreation and Parks welcomes families to a winter holiday event at their newest recreation location, Cahill Performing Arts Center, on Saturday, December 11, from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Kids can meet Santa, make seasonal crafts, and enjoy a showing of the Polar Express in the center's very own theatre! Kids can also work off their cocoa rush on the obstacle course and inflatable attractions, hop on a train ride, and listen to stories read aloud. Adults can enjoy lawn games, axe throwing, warm beverages, and onsite food trucks. This event is free and open to the public (excluding food truck purchases). For details, click below.
STATION NORTH HOLIDAY MARKET IS BACK!
Featuring Local Artisans, Live Music, and More
On Saturday, December 11, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. the Station North Arts District is hosting another holiday market featuring unique handmade gifts, music, and more. Station North affiliated artists will be selling original prints, jewelry, ceramics, home goods, bags, food and more. The event will happen rain or shine! Visitors are asked to come prepared to wear a mask while indoors, and bring proof of vaccination via your card (or a photo of it), or results from a negative covid test within 48 hours. Community Day Celebrates Two New Centers
This Sunday, celebrate the reopening of the BMA’s first floor with a day of activities inspired by the exhibition A Modern Influence: Henri Matisse, Etta Cone, and Baltimore and the new galleries dedicated to the art of Africa, Oceania, and Ancient Americas. Experience performances, art-making, and African storytelling. REP. CUMMINGS PORTRAIT TO DEBUT AT BMA
On December 21, a portrait of the late Rep. Elijah Cummings will be unveiled at the Baltimore Museum of Art. It will be on view to the public through January 9, when it will be permanently installed in the U.S. Capitol. Learn more about the portrait and the artist who painted it below.

The Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar is on Sundays from 7:00 a.m.12:00 p.m.! 

The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar has beloved elements like hot food vendors and the Bazaar’s artisans. The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar continues maintaining public health regulations to provide a safe experience for all.  

The 44th season runs weekly, 7:00 a.m.12:00 p.m. on Sundays through December 19, 2021, with continuous adaptation to maintain health and safety.
