STEP INTO ARTISTS' STUDIOS THIS WEEKEND
The 33rd Annual Baltimore Open Studio Tour
This Saturday & Sunday, October 23–24, you can step into the studios of Baltimore artists during the 33rd Baltimore Open Studio Tour. This annual city-wide event brings together professional artists and the general public, giving art lovers, students, art collectors, and creative influencers the opportunity to visit, meet, engage, purchase, and get a glimpse into the studios of some of Baltimore City’s most vibrant artists. Check out some of our artist spotlight videos below, and click the button for details about OST Weekend.

GARDEN PAINT & DANCE PARTY

New Broadway East Community Association, Baltimore Green Space and B'More Beautiful are hosting a Garden Paint and Dance Party on Saturday, October 23, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at the Duncan Street Miracle Garden. REVEL IN A MOSAIC OF MUSIC

On Sunday, October 24, from 3:00–4:00 p.m., the Baltimore Philharmonia Orchestra will play a free musical mosaic concert at St. Matthew Catholic Church. ANIMA BRASS AT THE YNOT LOT
Brass Quintet Concert in the Park
Join Anima Brass on Sunday, October 24, at 4:00 p.m. for a free outdoor concert at the Ynot Lot in Station North. Not only will they present a wonderful program full of exciting and new music, but they will also collect donations for the B'More Clubhouse, a non-profit organization that serves adults living with mental illness. BMA Violet Hour: Virtual Discussion
This virtual discussion on Tuesday, October 26, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. will explore the historical and contemporary perspectives on witchcraft, archetypes of femininity, and their relationship to contemporary culture. Scenes From New Plays
Join the Baltimore Playwrights Festival on Wednesday, October 27, at 8:00 p.m. as they present scenes from new plays by area playwrights. The readings will be rehearsed and staged with movement, lighting, props, and costuming. Register for free at the button below.
OPENING NIGHT OF BROUHAHA
At Baltimore Theatre Project
BrouHaHa is a comedic, existential escapade opening on Thursday, October 28, at 8:00 p.m. In this devised, clown-esque piece, Happenstance Theater’s troupe of eccentrics walks the precipice at the end of the world. OPENING RECEPTION
An Exhibition by Scout Gibbons Roll
Scout Gibbons Roll’s solo exhibition explores intersections of cultural Catholicism, self-care, harm reduction, and stigma. During the opening reception on Thursday, October 28, from 6:00–9:00 p.m., refreshments will be provided by Ilegal Mezcal. The first 100 guests will receive a free Artist Self-Care Puffalope that includes a small sketchbook, pen, pencils, face mask, and hand sanitizer. For more information, click below.

Día de los Muertos at The Walters
In celebration of Día de los Muertos, from now through November 7, visitors to The Walters Art Museum can contribute to a community altar designed by artist Edgar Reyes, pick up an Art Kit, and visit the Translations and Transitions/Traducciones y Transiciones exhibition. The Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar is back on Sundays from 7:00 a.m.12:00 p.m.! 

The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar has welcomed back beloved elements like hot food vendors and the Bazaar’s artisans in a limited capacity, after offering a food-only market throughout the 2020 season. The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar continues maintaining public health regulations to provide a safe experience for all.  

The 44th season is scheduled to run weekly, 7:00 a.m.12:00 p.m. on Sundays through December 19, 2021, with continuous adaptation to maintain health and safety. See the full list of farmers, food vendors, and Bazaar artisans by visiting the link below!
