New exhibit opens Friday

The September exhibit at The 567 will be "Pots & Pixels 🔥💥😍," featuring ceramic art by Heatherly Wakefield and digital art and prints by Jonathan Harwell-Dye. Join us on First Friday to see the new exhibit, enjoy light refreshments and meet the artists. The exhibit will be on display September 2-30, and the gallery is open Monday-Friday, 11 am-4 pm.

Glass Blowing Studio Launch & Dedication


On First Friday we're also celebrating our new glass blowing studio! There will be sidewalk demonstrations to see an artist at work with our new equipment. This studio is made possible by a donation from Mark Thompson in memory of his mother, Aljean Dorsey Thompson. There will be a brief time of dedication at 6 pm, followed by demonstrations.

First St. Art & Wine Festival - Sept. 9 & 10


Join us for a fantastic weekend of delicious wine, beautiful art, and fun for the whole family. The festival will include art vendors, exhibits, wine tastings, art activities for all ages, food pairings, shopping, and more! With over 35 taps of wine at Just Tap’d, you’re sure to find the perfect wine for any taste.

All Hands Art Festival - Sept. 30-Oct. 2


The All Hands Art Festival is a unique three-day event in Macon, GA showcasing art made with clay, glass, metal or wood. It includes art vendors, demonstrations, an exhibition, live music, food trucks, and Art Olympics where artists can compete in technical competitions in glassblowing, pottery, or welding.

We're offering pottery painting at Z Beans coffee shop on Cotton Ave. Enjoy coffee, pastries, and other treats while you paint your own mug. After it's fired, you can use it at home.

Beginning Watercolor - starts Sept. 6


In this 4-week class, you'll learn the basic skills to start watercolor painting with confidence. Brandi will teach you about brush control, color mixing, paint-to-water ratio, different brush techniques, and fixing common mistakes.

Learn the basic principles of making pottery on the wheel, including cups and bowls, from Heatherly Wakefield in this 8-week class. Meets Tuesdays.
