IN THE STUDIO:

I've decided to take a break from painting large for this month and focus on some smaller pieces. I'm excited about the direction of these three new small works! Look for the finished pieces in next month's newsletter.

The Story Behind "On View"

It was such a wonderful reception at one of my favorite galleries. I had worked so hard to get here, but it was nearing the end of the night and my feet were killing me. It was time to find my family and begin to make an exit. This gallery has a window seat that lines the front windows and that’s where I found them. The night was long for them too and they had made themselves very comfortable on this seat. My younger daughter had even kicked her shoes off. There were still a few people in the gallery at this time, but my trio had set themselves up in their own separate world - sitting there on view as though they were part of the exhibition - with the reflection of the exhibition filling the windows behind them. I realized I had one more thing I needed to do before ending the night.

Group Winter Exhibition

Two of my small works will be on view in this WCA MA group winter-themed exhibition at the 873 Cafe. Come check it out and enjoy a great meal at the same time!

On view December 2 - January 31

Instead of a traditional reception, the WCA MA will be having a luncheon to celebrate this exhibition. The cost is $30 per person and RSVPs are required.

ArtsWorcester - Small Works 2025

I'm happy to share that my little painting Lost has been sold! This painting and many other incredible paintings are still on view in the annual ArtsWorcester Small Works 2025 exhibition until December 14. The exhibition is also be able to be viewed online.

Brunch and Brushes

My monthly acrylic class continues at New Dawn Arts Center. This class focuses on painting from life and has a different still-life theme each month. Join is for a special holiday theme on December 13!

All materials and brunch are provided.

Classes will typically be held on the first Saturday of each month (occasionally second Saturday when needed), 11am-2pm.
