Art Shabbat:  Warhol's Jewish Geniuses

Join us for this special Shabbat, during which Temple members Maria Goldberg and Lewis Bear Jr. will discuss Andy Warhol's "Jewish Geniuses" -- an important series Temple Beth El is proud to exhibit.

Following worship Maria, an art historian, and Lewis, a passionate and knowledgeable pop art enthusiast, will be available in the lower lobby, adjacent to the installation, to answer any questions. 

Worship will be led by Rabbi Joel, Sonia Yanovsky, and Victoria Adamenko. Please bring a side, salad, entree, or dessert to share at covered-dish Shabbat dinner.

On Shabbatot throughout the summer, beginning on Friday, July 7, Rabbi Joel will highlight the biographies and contributions of the ten individuals featured - each a seminal figure of the 20th century.
