Breathing Art into life one stroke at a time!

Classes. Workshops. Paint Parties

Its with great pleasure I release this Newsletter on April 15th World Art day!

Time flies when you are having a good time. The past few weeks have been filled with action. My time is spent between getting ready for the YouthLive Gala fundraiser and preparing for the Silicon Valley Open Studios in May.

I also attended a workshop hosted by Silicon Valley Creates and  I decided to kick it up a notch and get a loan micro financed  by Kiva. You can read more about it in this Newsletter.

Have some ideas you want to share? On art, life... I would love to hear from you. Please hit the' reply' button and send me a note.

My Mission is to Breathe Art into your life and bring people together to celebrate life one stroke at a time!

Artfully Yours,
Majella Pinto

Silicon Valley Open Studios is an event that encourages a close personal relationship between artists and art enthusiasts.

Fayne Muldoon who lives next door is also participating. Do mark your calendars and visit Fayne and me on May 20th and 21st for some refreshments and good conversation while you take in the Art.

Fayne Muldoon - my next door neighbor, friend and Artist
Fayne has no formal training in art and only several years of experience.  She is what some would call a “newbie” to the art world. Almost entirely self-taught, she credits her grandmother, who was an amazing artist, as passing down her talent.

At age 59, she experienced what many refer to as a spiritual “aha” epiphany. She had come across one of her grandmother’s old paintings and as she held the painting, she heard a gentle, caring voice in her mind say… “paint the beauty that you see”.

So, Fayne started oil painting.

After 17 years working at her current job, Fayne was laid off in 2014 at age 62.  It was a blessing.  This allowed her to paint full time.

Fayne’s unique story is discovering her life’s path – a burning passion to paint the beauty she sees in the world, to paint from her heart, to share that with others and that special person who is meant to give her painting a home.
