The Provenal Garden series...and other new paintingsNew2

A few new pieces have made it onto the website since October; here's a brief introduction to the two main works I have recently completed, both on the theme of a Provenal garden. Capturing moments of light that have stayed with me long after the event, these two deep-sided 50 x 50 cm paintings were a labour of love for much of September and October.

See them both in far more detail on the website (click these images to go there), along with a scattering of other recent work including some of those autumn and winter skies I am always so inspired by at this time of the year.

An advent calendar of artAdvent

Those of you who follow my page on Facebook will know that I started a December countdown in miniature paintings, continuing on until at least the middle of next week...possibly longer as more become ready. So far, numbers 1 & 2 have already flown out the door and we are now onto Day 4 as I type this...
These jewel-like bursts of colour and light (see the newsletter header above) are painted to 15 x 20 cm canvases that are 3.5 cm deep, making them suitable for hanging or even standing nonchalantly on shelves and coffee tables. They work particularly well in groups as colours are complementary, though each one is entirely unique; an inspired study of nature painted with all my usual attention to detail, in several layers which are left to dry and returned to over two to three painting sessions until they are 'just right'.

At 80 including UK delivery (just a little extra for international delivery), these original oil on canvas works of art make an ideal Christmas gift - or why not just treat yourself - and can be purchased straight off the Miniatures page on my website, while they are still available, using the Buy Now link.

To make things easier, why not 'like' my Facebook page so that you receive a notification each day as soon as a new miniature is released, plus up-to-the-minute news about offers, new work, events and more.
NEW - easy one-click purchasing of originalsClick

A new innovation this month is the introduction of one-click purchasing of originals on helenwhite.org.

In the interests of reclaiming some space, this has been introduced for most of my older works in storage, especially the small to medium-sized pieces, with great prices that include standard shipping.

Using the Buy Now buttons that have been added to paintings included in the scheme, this allows for really quick and easy ordering. Having already received some orders for Christmas purchases this week, I can report that the system is running very nicely indeed and makes purchasing art a great deal easier than ever before, for everyone involved.

So, if you haven't had a look around my website recently, now is a good time as there are some real bargains on there...and do keep looking in the New Year as I continue to roll the scheme out to include more art.

See you all next year!
