(for ages 3 to 5 with adult)

Wonder, respect, and love for the natural world will get a great start in this engaging weekly class. Take nature walks, read stories, and create a one-of-a-kind art project every week. These are wonderful experiences where children can spend time outdoors with our Environmental Educators.

Have you ever wondered whether you can grow a new stalk of celery from celery scraps, or a new onion from leftover pieces? Then wonder no more. You'll be amazed at how much food you can regrow from scraps. It's not only fun to watch food regrow, but it also cuts back on waste and helps the environment too.

Calling all homeschoolers! Learn through experience as we take in the beauty of nature while exploring the grounds of the Arboretum! This week's topic is Bird Nests. Discover some of the wild and unique nests that different birds can build.
