If Spring is for planting then Summer can be a joyous time to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
Greetings!
Now that most of us have our gardens planted, we can enjoy watching them grow! Be sure to allow yourself time to sit back and appreciate the hard work you have put in. Pour yourself a cold drink, bring your book out and enjoy your beautiful garden and all the buzzing creatures in it. And if you are looking for some finishing touches - we have a few ideas:

There are lots of ways to enhance a garden planted, some functional and some aesthetic.
  • Mulch – provides water retention and texture
  • Garden Art - for interest
  • Wind Spinners - for dynamic movement
  • Gazing Globes - for contemplation
  • Statuary – whether a garden that is a memorial to a lost pet, or a place to gather your thoughts - create a serenity space
  • Obelisks and trellises – for vertical lines and dimension
  • Bird Baths and Fountains – add the element of water to the garden
  • Outdoor seating – benches and seats to pause and take in the beauty

We spend so much effort on our gardens, adding different elements and textures will allow you to put your own signature on your garden space.  We have pieces that will make your garden pop, be a focal point and a conversation piece.
Since we know you're going to be spending lots of time outside in your own yards, we've come up with a couple of sales this weekend to help you put the finishing touches on your garden.

There are an abundance of bunnies on Cape Cod. Here are tips for co-existing peacefully with these cute cottontails.

Pets of Hyannis Country Garden
Please meet sweet Callie. Callie is a 10 year old BoJack - meaning she is part Boston Terrier and part Jack Russell Terrier. Her people tell us she is also an official K-9 dog. We think she is 100% awesome.

Callie loved visiting us this week, smelling all the smells, and receiving lots of pats. We hope to see you again soon, Callie!
In addition to loving cats, we are dog-friendly at HCG. All well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at Hyannis Country Garden...in fact we've put water bowls out for them around the nursery. We've got pet food, treats, and toys for dogs and cats alike.

Do you have a pet that loves #hyanniscountrygarden? Send us a picture of them along with whatever makes them happy when they're here...maybe it's a treat or a toy - you tell us! We'll try to feature your pet in our newsletter or on social media. Click here to send that picture!
