Hello,
My name is Chris Jodoin from Spectra Event Group, a local live event production and design company here in Vancouver, BC. COVID-19 has changed the face of our business and as we begin to rebuild part of our mission is to curate events that will bring communities together. We would like to introduce to you Art in the Park, a boutique style, artist market taking place on
Sunday August 23, 2020 at Malkin Bowl in the iconic Stanley Park. Entry will be free of charge and guests will have the option to purchase a luxurious High Tea Experience at the Stanley Park Pavilion taking place simultaneously.
We are putting out a call for visual artist to participate in the event. As we consider applicant, our goal to include a broad range of mediums to allow each artist the ability to showcase their work in a non-competitive environment. Talent and experience in both artistic and professional pursuits are valued in this process, however we embrace both artists with no experience in these areas and those with extensive resumes.
In order to create a visually appealing, professional and safe atmosphere, we are looking for artist who want to be a part of the event. The event will consist of 25 10'x10' white artist booths, following all health and safety regulations set out by local health authorities. Art in the Park is looking to showcase local visual artist, potters, wood carvers, sculptures, and jewelers in a tasteful and lush setting nestled in Stanley Park.

Application deadline is Friday August 14 at 4pm. Space is very limited and is on a first come first serve bases.
