The final day to submit your COFA Laureate Portfolio will be Sunday, April 26! Submit to the assignment in our Google Classroom (classroom code nklgwyew). Don't forget to purchase your stoles on the Sunny Hills webstore. Any questions, reach out to your COFA teachers ASAP.

Students exhibiting at Laguna College of Art and Design in the "Color it Orange" high school art show. Opening Reception was April 2nd, but will be on display all month. COFA visual art teachers would like to congratulate Sarai Guttierrez, Willow Morrell, Brighton Strobel, Emily Tam, Izabel Vazquez, Wesley Kim, and Erin Kim for being recognized for their talents. Our final exhibition of the semester "Blooming Perspectives" brings an enchanted mixture of blossoming artists, colors and sculptures to the PAC for Lancers to enjoy. Our opening reception on Tuesday 4/21 from 5-7 PM will be in collaboration with the Thrifting club featuring a fashion show and artworks from both Nicolas and Rancho Starbuck Junior High students. The exhibition will also be open ALL day Wednesday 4/22 for students to enjoy at break & lunch. Come out and support! (Flyer is attached)

Get ready for the Lancer Theatre Co.'s Spring Play, "12 Angry Jurors." This production will be performed "in the round" in the dance studio (room 130) for a one-of-a-kind performance! You won't want to miss it! Shows are April 29 & 30, May 1 & 2. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets today.

OCDE is also hosting an art exhibition on April 30th showcasing high school artworks from all over Orange County, Sunny Hills students will be also featured in this show and are invited to check out the exhibition, info flyer is attached.

We have several exciting celebrations to share!

Congratulations to Raynalind Bethany Tan, the 2025-2026 Fullerton Joint Union High School District-Level “ROP Student of the Year." Raynalind is the Sunny Hills High School Video Production Director, COFA Member, and Production and Managerial Arts Pathway completer. She has devoted countless hours recording, documenting, photographing and live-streaming many school, district, and community events. Raynalind has demonstrated outstanding achievement of the Standards for Career Ready Practice (CRPs). Raynalind, is a member of Women of Film, which advocates for and advances the careers of women and gender diverse people working in the film and screen industry.

Congratulations to colorguard for winning first place at the Portola High School competition on March 28!

Congratulations to the SHHS Percussion Ensemble for winning first and second place at their last two competitions! They also got promoted to a higher division - Open Class Division - for displaying exceptional skills in music and marching.
