Back 2 School Bash is a fun event to celebrate the beginning of a new school year for Iowa State students and faculty, and the entire Ames community is welcome! There will be games and activities, a beer garden, and live music from Ames’ favorite band: The Nadas!

The Ames Writers Collective is celebrating its first birthday! The main event, Music & Conversation Between Friends, features Deb Marquart and The Bone People, along with authors Tom Montgomery Fate and John T. Price. Tickets may be purchased through Stephens Auditorium.

Whose Live Anyway?

Whose Live Anyway? is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song all based on audience suggestions. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Jeff B. Goode, Greg Proops, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping with the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Audience participation is key to the show, so bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast on stage! Whose Live Anyway? showcases some of the improv games made famous on the long-running TV show as well as some exciting new ones.
