Art Outside...Year Three!!ArtOutside

For the third year, Art with a Heart enjoyed participating in Art Outside, a day-long arts festival along Druid Hill Reservoir. As in years past, Art with a Heart engaged guests in a community art project. This year, festival goers created felt mandalas as part of an Art with a Heart peace themed art initiative at Patterson Park Public Charter School. The mandalas made by community members will be installed in the school's cafeteria along with mandalas made by the Patterson Park community during a recent family night at the school.

Art with a Heart Student Interns! Interns
Over the last several weeks, Art with a Heart was thrilled to host high schoolers from six different schools completing community service, senior projects and internships. These enthusiastic students helped prepare for classes, assisted at community service events and worked in Art with a Heart classrooms.  Their experience was filled with fun and engaging projects and people. We are going to miss their energy and support!
