California-raised Linda Fischbach has always valued the experience of art appreciation through research and travel. Since 2010, she has made it her mission to share her passion with others through her website Art Privée. The main feature of the website is a comprehensive online database where one can search by city or country to find a fabulous selection of art sites worldwide. This directory is a unique and powerful tool to find all the art world has to offer, notably the harder-to-find private art collections, museums and foundations.

Linda Fischbach's latest project is her book, Extraordinary Art Experiences in America: An Insider’s Guide. Written along with art lover, interior designer and author Tracey Pruzan, the book reveals where to find unexpected art spaces across the United States. When the pandemic curtailed adventures overseas, they decided to pivot from international sites to exclusively explore domestic artful gems in the book.

More about Linda Fischbach:

An accomplished researcher at the Library of Congress and a docent at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Linda has also worked at Sotheby's and Christie's auction houses in New York. She was the head of fact-checking at Mirabella magazine and one of the first producers of the HBO documentary about the complexities of the art market, The Price of Everything. Linda has also been a longtime member of the International Directors Council and co-chair of the Patron's Circle at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Her website and new book open doors to the art world that are not usually experienced by the public, a goal she holds dear.

Between the Art Privée website and the book, Extraordinary Art Experiences in America: An Insider’s Guide, art lovers have an arsenal of information to help them follow their artful dreams. I am proud to say that I have personally visited 10 on the list of 35 art venues in the book and I will see one in Florida in a few weeks.
