There are many aspects of being a member of the Charlotte Independence that are not technical in nature and our Member Services team is here to assist with all of them. Some examples of situations we can help with are account changes including payments, uniforms, training shirt orders, paperwork and so much more. We value our members and do not want anything to distract from their experience with the Charlotte Independence so if you have a question, wondering about something, or have a concern, don’t let it go unasked, let us help you find a resolution. Charlotte Independence Adds Charlotte Independence Soccer Club's Blake Pope on Academy Deal |

The Charlotte Independence continues its youth developmental success with the signing of midfielder and Charlotte Independence Soccer Club standout Blake Pope to a USL Academy contract, pending league and federation approval. Pope will be eligible for action with the Independence as the 2021 USL Championship season kicks off for the Jacks on Saturday, May 1 vs. the Tampa Bay Rowdies. |

Independence SC this month presented the new 2021-22 adidas home kit, introducing a fresh update to tradition, while delivering a sustainability-focused design created from recycled polyester.
Continuing Independence Soccer Club's partnership with adidas, the home jersey sees a traditional vibrant blue jersey, accented with a dark blue camo pattern around the font, back, and sleeves. The jersey also offers high-performance benefits with moisture-absorbing AEROREADY, a technology that helps players feel comfortable and ready to play.

INDEPENDENCE NORTH'S 2021 WPSL FIXTURE LIST REVEALED |

Charlotte Independence Soccer Club unveiled Charlotte Independence North's WPSL schedule for the 2021 season, running from May 26 to July 11.
Independence North will compete in the Northern Division in WPSL’s Carolinas Conference, with the fixture dates being announced. Independence North will begin their season with a home match against Wake FC.
Independence Central are penciled in for their first away clash against Oak City on Wednesday, June 2. Independence Central will also face Wake FC on June 14 (away), and NC Fusion on June 16 (away) to conclude a three-game road trip.
Greg Ashton's side are then set to take on Oak City on June 20 (home), Wake FC on June 23 (home), and Oak City on June 27 (away).
They conclude the season with a home match against NC Fusion on Sunday, July 11.

INDEPENDENCE CENTRAL'S 2021 WPSL FIXTURE LIST REVEALED |

Charlotte Independence Soccer Club unveiled Charlotte Independence Central's WPSL schedule for the 2021 season, running from May 14 to July 11.
Independence Central will compete in the Southern Division in WPSL’s Carolinas Conference, with the fixture dates being announced.
Independence Central will begin their season with a home match against the Charlotte Eagles.
Dave Carton's side are then set to host a second consecutive match in a row at Manchester Meadows against Wake FC as the season gets underway.
Independence Central are penciled in for their first away clash against Asheville City SC on Friday, June 4.
Independence Central will also face SC Bantams on June 6 (home), before a three-game road trip at Charlotte Eagles on June 11, Wake FC on June 27, and SC Bantams on July 7.
They conclude the season with a home match against Asheville City SC on Sunday, July 11.

INDEPENDENCE SOCCER CLUB TO COMPETE IN INAUGURAL USL ACADEMY CUP |

The United Soccer League announced this month the 37 clubs that will compete in the 2021 Academy Cup, which will take place at the Hillsborough County Tournament SportsPlex in Tampa, Fla. on May 28-31, 2021. The USL Academy Cup features some of the country’s most elite youth players from the U-13 and U-17 age groups and will build on the success of the first two regional events held prior to the pandemic.
Among the 74 teams competing, Independence Soccer Club will field multiple youth teams, made up of the top U15-U19 prospects in their organization. With a set of league-mandated standards in place, the league will ensure players’ exposure to a high level of competition and development result from direct ties to the organization’s USL Senior Team (Charlotte Independence – USL Championship).

We hope you are enjoying the awesome summer weather and some exciting soccer this spring. While it has been a challenging year for all of us in many different walks of life, we are glad that we have been able to keep the kids on the field, playing in a safe environment.
Yesterday we received some great news from the NCDHHS. Beginning Friday, April 30, masks will no longer be required for participation in outdoor activities in the state of North Carolina. That means, beginning today, NO ONE will be required to wear masks at the field - players, spectators, coaches, referees, etc. and any Independence match in both NC and SC (other states may vary depending on their current regulations). Of course, anyone who feels more comfortable with a mask may continue to do so. But it is no longer required.
We hope this news finds everyone well. We appreciate everyone’s support and commitment over the past year!

The Independence will make the 2021 campaign its first season at the brand new American Legion Memorial Stadium. The $40 million entire rebuild of the historic venue which began last September is close to completion and is set to open a new chapter for the Jacks. Located in Uptown Charlotte, the new venue will have a capacity of 10,500 including standing area, and the type of amenities that have become standard at new venues across the Championship in recent years. Among them, a first for the Independence, will be a full video scoreboard and views of the surrounding city skyline that will make for a memorable experience on game-nights and at other events.
