Washington Goes Purple is an awareness movement to educate our community and youth about the dangers of prescription painkillers and other drugs. By focusing on education, prevention and mental health we know we can heal through this opioid crisis, which has become the deadliest health crisis in US history. We are thankful for this partnership with the Washington County Arts Council. Art can show things that people are afraid of expressing and make connections that words cannot. We believe that by using art to build awareness we can inspire the community to continue coming together for a common goal - to prevent addiction.

One Woman Sex and the City:
A Parody on Love, Friendship and Shoes
Show Date - Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 2:00pm

Join actress and comedian Kerry Ipema as she portrays all 4 of our favorite women Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda in this 90 minute love-letter and hilarious tribute through six seasons of this mad-cap series. Kerry portrays Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda as they eat brunch, banter, argue and swoon over men and Manolos.

Ipema and co-creator and director T.J Dawe (One Man Star-Wars/One Man Lord of the Rings) bring all of our favorite moments to life. Mr. Big may even make an appearance.

The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience
Saturday, November 23, 2019 • 7:30pm

Zoso -The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience formed in 1995 to perform the most accurate and captivating Led Zeppelin live show since the real thing. For Zoso, it's much more than just being a tribute. It's about touching a golden era in music. Zoso embodies Page, Plant, Bonham and Jones in their spirit, tightly wound talent and authenticity. Each band member has been carefully selected to portray both the appearance and playing styles of their Led Zeppelin counterparts. In eighteen successful years of touring, they have perfected their art. As one of the longest tenured Zeppelin tributes, Zoso's 2400 live shows around the world, including a slot at Bonnaroo in 2003, have established them as the most traveled and successful band in the market.

Zoso's live shows are not about simply playing the right notes, they are about aura and feeling, harkening back to the unique atmosphere Led Zeppelin created. It’s in the way they play: Each band member's mastery of authentic vintage instruments coupled with spot on vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards, their compelling stage persona and distinct Led Zeppelin sound, with astounding visual imagery recreates the music, magic, and mystery of a Zeppelin concert. The impact is so powerful that band members constantly hear from young rockers that they were the catalyst behind turning them into new, die-hard Zeppelin fans.

Boys & Girls Club of Washington County presents Tim Hawkins
Sunday, November 24, 2019 • 3:00pm & 7:00pm

Since giving up his job as a grocery truck driver in 2002, Tim Hawkins has been establishing himself as one of the most in-demand comedians in the country. With 300,000,000 video views online and over 100 sold-out concerts every year, his Jackwagon Crew has grown into a revolution of multi-generational proportions. But don’t take it from us...

Tim's gut-busting comedy show entertains the entire family while doubling down on the funny, a daunting task in an age where the obscene has become routine. His act is 1 part gifted + 2 parts twisted, the only certainty being his on-the-nose observations that expose the ridiculousness of daily life while marveling in its hilarity. The perils of marriage, homeschooling, and growing up in the Midwest may not exemplify the rock star life, but they make for really good punchlines.

Sure he's funny, but fans are often even more amazed at his singing voice and guitar chops. Tim's hilarious music videos have brought him viral YouTube fame with fan favorites including The Chick-fil-A Song, Yoga Pants, Aging Rockers, Things You Don’t Say to Your Wife, Cletus Take the Reel, A Homeschool Family, and The Government Can. Still, Tim is no rock star: "It's not like I have a choice. Comedy is my only life skill."

Tim reminds us that for life's many difficulties, laughter is always the best medicine – when the medication runs out. He just released his 9th comedy DVD, "Just About Enough". Tim lives in Missouri with his wife and four crud muffins.
