John Neal Mullican: Portraits and More in the Main Gallery and Elayne Rogge: Expressive Landscapes in the Hall Gallery through January 30, 2018.
Call for Artists 
The 8th Annual Washington County Art Educators

     The Washington County Arts Council (WCAC) invites all art educators in Washington County's public and private schools to enter work for the February exhibit. This is an invitational exhibition and all work will be accepted. Each educator is allowed to submit three works that have been completed within the last two years and all work must be for sale.
     Artwork may be dropped off Friday, January 26, 2018 from 11am to 5pm, Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 11am to 5pm, or Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 11am to 5pm.
     The Exhibit will run from February 1, 2018 through February 27, 2018. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm.

 
The "Annual Community Art Show:
The Best Local Art of 2017" Awards

Presented by the Washington County Arts Council and
Hagerstown Arts & Entertainment District with support from the City of Hagerstown.

The City of Hagerstown seeks an artist to create permanent outdoor sculpture(s) for an audience of all ages on the new Hagerstown Cultural Trail. Works should be completed or well underway by Fall 2018. The total budget for the work is $10,000. The call is open to artists living in Maryland only. This artist call is presented in partnership with the Washington County Arts Council.

The City of Hagerstown seeks an artist to create permanent interactive wall art in the University Plaza. Works should be completed or well underway by Fall 2018. The total budget for the work is $5,000. The call is open to artists living in Maryland only. This artist call is presented in partnership with the Washington County Arts Council.
