"The Art of Cooking" returns!

The Washington County Arts Council will host its fifth annual fundraising dinner at Fountain Head Country Club on Saturday, January 25, 2014 (Snow date: January 26, 2014).

Lou Scally of WHAG and NBC-25 and Mary King of WIS-TV, Columbia, South Carolina will again co-emcee the event which features local "celebrity chefs" who will demonstrate their culinary skills and treat guests to delicious foods and selected wines all presented with an artful flair.

Lou Scally will entertain the guests in FHCC's ballroom while chatting with Mary King over live television as she and the guest chefs, who are in the prep kitchen, explain their recipes and demonstrate the steps to creating an irresistible dish. Then Fountain Head Executive Chef Todd Reynolds and his staff present the final product on screen and serve the guests. All attendees will be presented with a program book containing the evening's recipes.

Named The Studios on NoPo, staff is now accepting applications for artists who are interested in applying to live in the apartments and showcase their work in a first-floor storefront gallery. The applicants will go through a typical tenant screening process and a committee comprised of representatives from the local arts community will meet as needed to review applications.
