The Potomac Playmakers Announce Auditions for the next show of the 2017-2018 Season, Arthur Miller's drama All My Sons! In the show, Joe Keller and Steve Deever ran a machine shop during World War, II, which made airplane parts. Deever was sent to prison because the firm turned out defective parts, causing the deaths of many men. Keller went free and made a lot of money. The twin shadows of this catastrophe and the fact that the young Keller son was reported missing during the war dominate the action. The love affair of Chris Keller and Ann Deever, the bitterness of George Deever returned from the war to find his father in prison and his father's partner free, are all set in a structure of almost unbearable power. The climax showing the reaction of a son to his guilty father is fitting conclusion to a play electrifying in its intensity. All My Sons is a past winner of the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play.

Produced under special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., All My Sons will be directed by Cathy James. The cast calls for six men and four women. Auditions for All My Sons will be held on September 25 & 26, 2017 at The Women's Club, located at 31 S. Prospect Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740. Start time for auditions will be 7:00 pm on both nights. There will be cold readings from the script. Show dates for All My Sons will be November 10, 11, 17, 18 & 19, 2017, with possible additional performances TBA.
