Ann will be one of the stops on this years garden tour. This prominent local artist's pallet in the growing months becomes more about what grows and blooms outside than what transpires on her canvas. She has been the sole designer of her half acre plot, where she and her late husband were the first inhabitants 30 years ago...so she started with "a blank canvas", nurturing 360 degrees of mother earth that surrounds her abode. Some of her flowers have shown up on canvas either from photos or real life. You will find some of her creations for purchase on display easels or hanging on walls in the pop up tent as you enter the gardens. Besides perennials, annuals, shrubs and fiddlehead ferns, she also maintains a veggie garden whose rows are separated by trenches to create raised beds. Try your luck at winning a donated, framed & signed watercolor print from one of this artist’s gardens. It will be displayed at the entrance of her property and raffled off by Rotary.
