Yuka Imata's group show "Good Friends" at the Good Gallery in Kent, CT runs now through September 15, 2014

Celia Judge's painting "Open Sky" is part of an exhibit Original Representational Landscapes of the NH Lakes Region and White Mountains at the Surroundings Art Galleryin Central Sandwich, NH.

Abby Lammers explores shapes -- and the spaces around those shapes -- in the landscape and in still life using bold colors in oils, watercolor, and acrylics in this solo exhibition at Gallery Artrio.

Nicholas Read is featured in the exhibition "Flowers" at the Mass Audubon’s Moose Hill Wildlife Gallery. The exhibition runs through October 15, 2014.

Ellen Rolli's work will be exhibited at The Hutson Gallery, located at 432 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA, along with other Hutson Gallery artists, through the May�October season.

Janis Sanders' painting is featured on the cover of L.L. Bean's Late Summer 2014 catalog.

Tom Stocker�is showing his diptych portrait "Tom and Sally in Paris" at Galatea Fine Art, 460 Harrison Ave. Boston,�August 1-August 28. Juror: Edmond Barry Gaither, Director of the National Center of Afro-American Artists and special consultant to the Museum of Fine Arts.

Nancy Walton has an exhibit of recent paintings that will be at the Wellesley Public Library during the month of September.

CALLS TO ARTISTS

The Aesthetica Art Prize 2014 is now open for entries, offering both budding and established artists the opportunity to showcase their work to an international audience and influential figures from the arts sector. Celebrating and nurturing outstanding contemporary art from across the world, the Art Prize welcomes all forms of art in the following categories: Photographic & Digital Art, Three Dimensional Design & Sculpture, Painting & Drawing and Video, Installation & Performance.

Prizes include a 12 week group show; up to �1000 in cash; publication in the Aesthetica Art Prize Anthology and editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine (readership of 140,000 worldwide); art supplies and art books; and Q&As on the Aesthetica Blog. There are two main categories to enter: Main Prize and Student Prize. There is a winner for each main category. Entry is �15 and permits the submission of two works into any one category.
