Bill Moseley's Paintings Selected for Exhibit at Marco Island Historical Museum

Eagle Creek artist, Bill Moseley, was one of 20 artists selected to exhibit his work at the "Multiple Dimensions Exhibit" at the Marco Island Historical Museum.  The exhibit is a collaborative effort of the Museum and the Marco Island Foundation for the Arts and features the work of artists from Marco Island and the surrounding area.

The unusual exhibit features both 2 and 3 dimensional art.  Bill submitted two landscape paintings that were selected (Magical Cove on the left and Marco Sunset, below right). According to Carolyn Burger, MIFA President "...we really sought artists who were going to do something unusual, things that we hadn't seen before."  Inspiration for Magical Cove came from Bill's former house located on a large lake with  many coves.  The dark clouds of Marco Sunset seem somewhat unreal, but create a dramatic and interesting part of the image.

The Exhibit runs through Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the  Marco Island Historical Museum, (click here for information on the Museum)  180 South Heathwood Drive, Marco Island 34145, (239)-642-1440, Hours:  Tuesday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Congratulations, Bill--Eagle Creek is proud of you!
