12’ x 12’ Booth Fee: $20 for Members, $40 for Non-Members. New vendors must submit a $10 Application Fee with their form. If accepted, they must submit the remaining balance for their booth.

Exhibit Space Available


Opportunity for artists, community groups, nonprofits, and individuals to display their work at Central Library.

Central Library has display cases available for civic, educational, artistic, or cultural exhibits. This exhibit space is free to utilize, and it is not intended for commercial purposes. Central Library's goal is to highlight voices, spotlight nonprofit efforts, enhance lifelong learning, and bring relevant talking points to the community.

The exhibits will change quarterly, running from January to March, April to June, July to September, and October to December, providing the public with ample opportunities throughout the year to share their work. Individuals can display infographics, signs, paintings, photography, sculpture, documents, artifacts, and ephemera in the cases.

Discover Downtown Franklin is excited to host the 2024 Ethos Celebration of the Arts event in the heart of beautiful, historic Downtown Franklin on June 22, 2024 from 11:00am - 6:00pm. City of Indianapolis Neighborhood Grant Program's Applications are Open


The 5th and final round of the Neighborhood Grant Program will be available for neighbors to fund projects that beautify, develop, and engage their neighborhoods.

Organized by The City of Indianapolis and administered by INRC, this program aims to fund and support Indianapolis neighborhood associations and neighborhood-based organizations' visions for enhancing the places they call home.

Public Art for Neighborhoods Grants Available


Public Art for Neighborhoods is a City of Indianapolis program that ensures that City incentive funding for private development in certain districts returns benefits to neighborhoods in the form of increased arts and cultural activity. At least 50% of funds granted through this program will support projects in neighborhoods where the average household income is less than 138% of the current Federal poverty line.

The Community Connection Grants are designed to support the work of artists leading in their own communities, partnering with their neighborhoods and neighborhood-based organizations, to help address community-based challenges. Projects that address needs identified in the 2022 Public Art for All equity census will be prioritized for funding; however, any neighborhood-based arts project is eligible. Through this funding, artists can help envision a more connected, just, and equitable future for everyone.

Indy Arts Council Offers Mental Health & Wellness Grants


Indy Arts Council is now offering Mental Health & Wellness Grants to support artists and creative workers in navigating and preventing addiction and substance abuse.

These grants aim to help artists who are experiencing social and emotional challenges, but don’t have sufficient means to obtain treatment.

Andy Warhol Foundation

Arts Writers Grants Available


The Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant supports emerging and established writers who write about contemporary visual art. Ranging from $15,000 to $50,000 in three categories—articles, books, and short-form writing—the grants support projects addressing both general and specialized art audiences, from short reviews for magazines and newspapers to in-depth scholarly studies. The program also supports art writing that engages criticism through interdisciplinary methods and experiments with literary styles.

DeHaan Artist of Distinction Award


The DeHaan Artist of Distinction Award provides contemporary visual artists with grants of up to $10,000 to pursue aspirational projects. The final projects are shown during a special exhibit at Gallery 924.

The Christel DeHaan Family Foundation and Indy Arts Council launched the award program in 2017 and opened the program to artists statewide in 2021.

Adolph & Esther Gottlieb Foundation Emergency Grant


The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant program is intended to provide interim financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs are the result of an unforeseen, catastrophic incident, and who lack the resources to meet that situation.

Each grant is given as one-time assistance for a specific emergency, examples of which are fire, flood, or emergency medical need. 

This program has no deadlines.

FCA Emergency Grant


Created in 1993 to further FCA's mission to encourage, sponsor, and promote work of a contemporary, experimental nature, Emergency Grants provide urgent funding for visual and performing artists who:

  • Have sudden, unanticipated opportunities to present their work to the public when there is insufficient time to seek other sources of funding
  • Incur unexpected or unbudgeted expenses for projects close to completion with committed exhibition or performance dates

Emergency Grants is the only active, multi-disciplinary program that offers immediate, project-based assistance of this kind to artists living and working anywhere in the United States, for projects occurring in the U.S. and abroad.

Indy Arts Council

Offering Free IndyGo Passes to Artists


Thanks to a grant from the IndyGo Foundation, Indy Arts Council is providing free 10-Trip IndyGo bus passes to artists of any discipline residing in central Indiana.

Artists may claim one free 10-Trip pass every 30 days (while passes last) by completing a short form that includes demographic questions. This information helps us ensure that our programs and services are equitable and that we can be accountable to the community for our equity commitments. The information you provide may be reported to the public; however, it will be reported as part of aggregate statistics without individually identifying information.

Artists who are approved for an IndyGo pass will be notified by email. These passes can start anytime, but once the first trip is started, they need to be used within 30 days or the fares expire. To ensure that those who will really use them have access, please do not apply for a pass that you are unlikely to use up within 30 days.

Indiana Humanities is pleased to offer the Wilma Gibbs Moore Fellowships, which provide $5,000 stipends to support new humanities research that explores anti-Black racial injustice and structural racism in Indiana and that considers how Black Hoosiers have responded.

We believe that the humanities provide context for understanding complex issues and that they can be a force for strengthening the civic fabric of our state. Pro Bono Indiana’s (IndianaLegalHelp.org) Lawyers for the Arts project provides legal assistance at no cost to artists and small arts organizations. To obtain help, please call 812.402.6303. The Learning Tree Seeks Four Poets in Residence for Poetic Justice Program


The Learning Tree seeks four Indianapolis-area poets for their Poetic Justice Poet in Residence program. Poetic Justice is a peace-building and community safety program that integrates poetry and creative writing to foster social connectedness and cultivate visions of safe, nurturing communities through writing and asset-based community projects. We currently seek poets interested in having their original written work studied during our cohort sessions and participating in several of our meetings.

Poets should be Indianapolis residents, able to commit to three 1.5 hour meetings within the 15 weeks and be actively involved in the community within the last 5 years. Poetic Justice uses a cohort model, meeting once a week for 15 weeks. Poets in residence are expected to share at least one poem for a cohort to read, lead at least one poetry writing workshop and discussion, attend at least three PJ sessions, and offer one original writing to the Poetic Justice anthology.

Writers in residence will receive a $1,500 stipend.

Applications are now being accepted for ARTIST STUDIOS FOR RENT at the WAPAHANI ART CENTER at 1103 Kentucky Avenue in Downtown INDY. Within a few feet of the beautiful waterfront wilderness of White River, Wapahani Trail, studio spaces range from 250 – 650 sq.ft. Prices start at $350.00 per month. Space includes utilities, common area maintenance, free parking and artist event nights. Most spaces have sinks and windows.

Indiana Arts Commission Hosts Artist Needs Survey


Beginning in the Fall of 2023, the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) launched a statewide Artist Needs Assessment. The goals of the Artist Needs Assessment are threefold:

  • Create an opportunity for local artists to network, connect, and learn from peers.
  • Inform new and refined services and programming for individual artists in Indiana.
