NEFA is providing $282,000 on an immediate basis for   emergency artist relief   to support New England artists. These dollars will be infused into relief funds in partnership with New England’s State Arts Agencies:

In the weeks ahead, NEFA and our State Art Agency partners will work together on a plan to distribute relief funds from the Coronavirus Relief, Aid, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to nonprofit arts organizations across New England.

The new advisors join a group of eight returning advisors. We thank them and our four outgoing advisors for their dedication to the field of theater. In addition to application review, advisors also serve as programmatic and policy advisors, and as ambassadors for the program. Their input is invaluable.

Applications are due tomorrow Wednesday, April 22, 2020 for the National Endowment for the Arts CARES Act grants.
