DeAna Autry of Ocean Springs leads a versatile
life. Inspired by her passion for music and the
visual arts, this mother and grandmother of four sings, plays the piano, paints, and makes
jewelry. Also a gallery consultant for
The Pink Rooster/Gallery Garbo, she was born in South Dakota and lived there and in California
before moving to Mississippi. These places, along with her travels here and abroad, have contributed to the creation of her watercolors and jewelry designs. Like her paintings, Autry's jewelry reflects her
love of intriguing localities, the splendor of music, and the majestic colors of the world. Her jewelry
collection echoes her spirituality and features
various religious medals, old coins, and at times,
a bit of the eclectic.
Many of her works are available in the Gallery where Autry says her mission is to make unique, meaningful jewelry pieces.
