A New Teaching Artist Roster for Creative Aging
As part of the Council's Creative Aging Initiative, in July, teaching artists completed a multi-day training with Lifetime Arts, a national leader in creative aging program development. Artists worked closely with trainers around providing skill-based, sequential instructional lessons for older adults while focusing on the importance of embedding intentional social engagement opportunities into their programming.

This list of artists is a resource for organizations looking to bring the arts into their programming for older Vermonters. On the roster you’ll find artists available in your region, information about their disciplines, contact information, and links to more information about their art and teaching practices.

The Vermont Arts Council is funded, in part, by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, which requires a 1:1 match from the Vermont State Legislature. Council grants, programs, and statewide arts promotion would not be possible without the critical funding provided by these government agencies.
