Friendly Reminder to Communicate and Share This Week
the 4 Things Listed Below with Your State Legislators

You and others throughout Florida want this year's Florida Legislature to RESTORE its investments in the
Florida Department of State (DOS) Division of Cultural Affairs (DCA) matching-grants' programs -- the four asks:

Communicate Billboard

Have you COMMUNICATED and SHARED with your Florida Senator and Representative and/or those legislators who represent the interests of your county the following:

#1.   The Florida 2019 Florida Legislative PLATFORM for Arts & Culture
-- includes the four DOS DCA appropriation-investment asks, links to the four-ranked lists, and the county-by-county list.

#2.   Your COUNTY one-page INFOGRAPHIC
 that
outlines 6 key points specific to your county.

#3.  The list of the well-vetted, recommended 2019-2020 DOS DCA matching grants based in your county:  open your county's infographic and CLICK ON POINT #6
to access those recommended DCA matching grants based in your county.

#4.   A personal and/or community story on the negative impact of DCA cuts and the positive impact if the state restores its investments in these well-vetted and recommended 664 matching grants.  Here are  some facts,  but make your impact stories personal, local, and brief.

Politely make the asks of your legislators to support these appropriation investments and ask them to speak to their respective chamber leaders to also restore these state DOS DCA matching-grant investments in Florida's 2019-2020 budget.

CONTACT INFORMATION FOR YOUR STATE LEGISLATORS are already prepared for your easy use -- (1)  go to this Excel file; (2) open and download; (3) locate your county worksheet at the bottom; and (4) start communicating and sharing now the above with the Florida Legislators who represent you and the interest of your county.

Many thanks for all of your ongoing advocacy efforts.

Your voice moves arts & culture forward
for greater access for all to experience.
