2011 AHN Award: Celebrating the Next Generation


As many of you know, every year the Arts & Healing Network gives out an award celebrating healing artists who are truly making a difference in the world. This year we are doing something a little different with the award. We want to celebrate and support the next generation of healing artists - those who are between the ages of 18 and 25 years old - those who are the future of this movement.
And we want your help.

Please send us your nominations by filling out this form at

Here are some more details. We will be giving away one to four awards of $2,500-$10,000 each.  Nominees must:
  1. Be between the 18 and 25 years old 
  2. Have an active internet presence (web site, blog, or flickr, etc)
  3. Be doing work that combines art and healing

Susannah Conway:  Healing with Photography  


Susannah Conway is a photographer, writer and the creator of the Unravelling e-courses. A Polaroid addict and very proud aunt, she is currently editing her first book, This I Know: Notes on Unravelling the Heart, which will be available in spring of 2012. In this interview with Britt Bravo, she speaks about using creativity and photography to help recover from the death of her partner. She offers a specific ways to use photography as a transformative tool.
