About the Event
This event will focus on effective ways to forge creative collaborations that serve both the thriving San Diego arts and military industries.
San Diego is home to a nearly 350,000 active duty and retired Navy or Marines, Department of Defense civilian workers and military family members. It's also home to a thriving arts industry.
How do we as arts administrators find effective ways to bridge these two industries? How can we form lasting and meaningful partnerships with a transient and every changing military landscape? Who do we contact, how do we navigate the daunting government red tape, what's in it for us, what's in it for them? How can we, as an arts industry, serve those who serve our country better?
