If you’ve never explored our online resource library, now is a great time to check out the many tools we’ve assembled to help you make the case in your schools and communities.

We’re particularly excited about our new Digital Advocacy Toolkit for Educators. As always, let us know how we can support you!

Legislative Update

Now that election season is over, Congress has returned to Washington to finish out the legislative session. In September, they passed a continuing resolution to keep the government open through early December, with the hopes of passing a budget before new legislators take office in January. You can see the latest on the progress of federal arts funding here.

Legislators will return to the State House in January, so we’ll have an issue brief for you soon to update you on the arts funding request for 2025!

SC Arts Day/SC Arts Advocacy Week 2025

Save the Date for February 12 -13 – registration will open soon! Join us in Columbia for our annual gathering of arts advocates from around the State. We’ll kick off the celebration with a Summit Day filled with networking, guest speakers, advocacy training, and more! Then, we’ll see you at the State House to meet with legislators and rally on the steps. Whether you attend both days, or just one, don’t miss this opportunity to raise your voice for the arts!

We’ll also be sharing content and additional ways to advocate all week long during SC Arts Advocacy Week, so be sure to follow us on social media!

Make sure you become a FREE member so you can be the first to know about key funding and policy updates, and help us take action on the most important issues!

Thank you for all you do for the arts, and have a great year!
