TAP for TAF Craft Beer Festival

Drink beer and support the arts on Saturday, April 18, on top of the Tippecanoe County Parking Garage at 200 South St. Featuring great views of Downtown Lafayette, this event offers participants the opportunity to sample beer and cider from Indiana producers.

Included with your ticket purchase is a tasting glass and all the beer samples you can (responsibly) drink. The event will also feature nonalcoholic beverages and local bites.

Proceeds benefit The Arts Federation and its mission to grow the arts in 14 Indiana counties.

You must be 21 years or older to attend.

Annual Shirley Martin Scholarship for Young Songwriters

The Songwriters’ Association of Mid-north Indiana (SAMI) is accepting applications for the 2026 Shirley Martin Scholarship for Young Songwriters, which includes the Mike Lane Horizon Award. The scholarship and awards are for songwriters aged 14 to 19, who live in any of these Indiana counties: Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Pulaski, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Warren or White and are permanent residents of Indiana.

Applications for the scholarship are accepted between now and April 2, 2026.

Ax and the Hatchman

Ax and the Hatchetmen came here to party. The six-piece indie rock band from Chicago, led by singer and guitarist Axel Ellis (star of Amazon Prime’s The Runarounds), have been headlining tours and releasing music since 2018. Rounding out the rest of the band are the Hatchetmen- made up of Salvatore Defilippis on guitar, Hunter Olshefke on bass, Nick Deputy on drums, Phil Pistone on trumpet and Quinn Dolan on saxophone.

The group have released multiple singles and EPs since signing with Arista Records in 2023, including their latest collection, the “Constant Change” EP which features Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes on the single “Blurry Lights”. They plan on touring and releasing music for the foreseeable future.

Beetlejuice the Musical

He earned his stripes on Broadway… now the ghost-with-the-most is coming to West Lafayette.

Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes.

With an irreverent book, an astonishing set, and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is “SCREAMINGLY GOOD FUN!” (Variety).

And under its uproarious surface (six feet under, to be exact), it’s a remarkably touching show about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O!

Contains strong language, mature references, and a lot of the crazy, inappropriate stuff you would expect from a deranged demon.

Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum selling rock band SOUL ASYLUM started as Minneapolis’ punk younger brothers to the Replacements and Husker Dü. Their 1992 breakthrough album Grave Dancers Union featured the international hits “Runaway Train”, “Black Gold” and “ Somebody to Shove”. “Runaway Train” won a Grammy, and its groundbreaking music video brought nearly two dozen missing and exploited children and teens around the world home to their families.

SOUL ASYLUM has released 13 original albums – including their most recent, 2024’s Slowly But Shirley – with multiple live albums and assorted Greatest Hits collections. Their famous 1993 MTV Unplugged performance was released for the first time on vinyl as a coveted Record Store Day exclusive, and November 2025 also saw the 30-year-anniversary reissue of their Let Your Dim Light Shine album.

This upcoming show offers a rare opportunity to see SOUL ASYLUM’s Dave Pirner and Ryan Smith perform an intimate, one-of-a-kind acoustic set.

Magdalena Bay is a Los Angeles–based pop duo composed of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, crafting sleek, emotionally charged pop music that lives as comfortably online as it does in sound. Though rooted in California now, the pair first connected as teenagers in a Miami high school music program, recognizing early on a shared fluency in music and an easy creative chemistry. Their earliest project together took the form of a progressive rock band before they gradually turned their focus toward pop. That shift became Magdalena Bay: a project built around exploring pop music as a broad, elastic form, shaped by nostalgia, modern technology, and a strong visual sensibility.

Following a steady run of EPs and singles, the duo released their debut album Mercurial World in 2021, gaining attention for its vivid hooks, meticulous production, and cohesive digital aesthetic. As their audience grew through streaming, touring, and festival appearances, so did the scope of their creative ambitions. Their most recent album, Imaginal Disk, recorded in their Los Angeles home studio before being mixed by Dave Fridmann, reflects a more confident and exploratory phase. Featuring more live instrumentation and a freer approach to song structure, the album draws from a wide range of musical and cultural influences, presenting a version of Magdalena Bay that feels both forward-looking and fully formed.

The continued purpose of the Member Show is to give PAC artists of all skill levels and media, an annual opportunity to exhibit their original art in the Lilian Fendig Gallery where PAC presents exhibitions and programs year round. We also welcome pieces from the personal collections of our collector members. We endeavor to create a diverse and dynamic show. We accept works from all ages of members, in all media. Prizes and ribbons will be awarded at an opening reception for the best works.

Artist Entry:
