Archaea: Rosane Volchan O'Conor // Yellowstone Art Museum, Billings

The Yellowstone Art Museum unveils a new installation by Brazilian-born artist Rosane Volchan O'Conor, who is now based in Boulder, Colorado. Her installation is a fusion of the artist's interests in biology, music, and the visual arts. Archaea alludes directly to the unique history of the Yellowstone Caldera's history and micro-biome. "Archaea" are microscopic organisms that survive in extreme environments.
