Germanfest // Caras Park
Sunday, September 3rd, 2-6pm 
Join ARTS Missoula for this year's Germanfest! Germanfest is a  celebration of German culture and Missoula's Sister City relationship with Neckargemünd, Germany. It is the premiere Montana German festival in the state. The afternoon will include special musican guest: S-Bahn, traditional food, music and beer. We are also bringing back German Steins! 18th Annual Group Art Exhibt // Pattee Canyon Ladies' Salon

This fun show will feature studies in pencil, oil pastel, oil paint, gouache, fabric, and ceramics. The group has been meeting together for over 25 years with artists including Janet Whaley, Linda Tawney, Shari Montana, Leslie Van Stavern Millar, Beth Lo, Becki Johnson, Kristi Hager, Stephanie Frostad and Nancy Erickson.


Missoula Monster Project // Zootown Arts Community Center

Welcome fall back to Missoula with the Missoula Monster Project. 
"The Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC) and SPARK!/Any Given Child Missoula have  joined forces again to present the third annual Missoula Monster Project. Kindergarten classes from three Missoula County public schools created original monster pieces that are then illustrated by adult artists. This project's purpose is to bring more art into the public schools". Don't miss this! This exhibit will be up for the month of September. Norman Maclean Literary Festival //Seeley Lake & Missoula, MT
September 8th-10th
You are invited to the Norman Maclean Festival the second weekend in September. Head to Seeley Lake, September 8-9 for "The Story of the Blackfoot" featuring Richard Manning, Annick Smith, Stephanie Ambrose-Tubbs, William Kittredge, Pete Fromm and other leading MT authors. Also, in Missoula on Sunday, September 10th, The Wilma and the Roxy will be screening the movie, A River Runs Through It.
