Encore: Arts Missoula's New International Film Series Draws an Even Bigger Crowd in September

On Monday, September 17th, Global and Cultural Affairs' World View Film Series at the Roxy Theater continued its trend from the previous month by filling the next bigger auditorium that seats 120 people! The audience enjoyed a superb drumming demonstration on stage, provided by Unity Dance & Drum in Missoula.
The performance connected the audience with the movie War/Dance. The film focuses on three Ugandan refugee children, Dominic, Rose and Nancy, who prepare to take part in a nationwide music and dance competition.

The next films in the World View Film Series are Hip Hop-Eration from New Zealand on Monday, October 15th, followed by Dancing in Jaffa on Monday, November 19th. The Roxy World View Film Committee is meeting this fall to select the movies for the spring 2019 film lineup. See the official World View Film Poster here!

The entire series is free to the public, made possible through 100% sponsorship by local businesses.  We would love to welcome you as our guest at these screenings this fall!
