The Allied Arts Reuse Thrift Store is Bursting at the Seams!
Thanks to a substantial donation from the estate of Martina Elenbaas we are overflowing with every kind of art supply imaginable. Martina was a very prolific artist and her husband John Novak has generously donated her supplies to our Thrift Store so that others may have the opportunity to utilize the materials. In the last few days dozens of experienced and budding artists have come in to pick up some of these great items. Donated supplies include acrylic paints, brushes, silk painting supplies, knick-knacks, frames, mats, sketchpads, paper, and so much more. In addition to supplies we have also received finished pieces: sketches, acrylic and watercolor paintings.
Again, we would like to thank the family of Martina Elenbaas for this very generous donation and we hope Martina would appreciate that her supplies will help the creative endeavors of many local artists.
The Allied Arts Reuse Thrift Store is open Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm and Saturday, 12pm - 5pm and is located at the back of the Allied Arts Gallery at 1418 Cornwall Ave. Downtown Bellingham. All items are donated and sales support Allied Arts various opportunities for artists and arts education in local schools.
