Lane Arts Council is deeply committed to enriching the education of K-12 students across our region through diverse arts programs led by skilled Teaching Artists. Last year, we provided an impressive 2,836 hours of arts learning to 11,250 students, with 80% from rural and/or majority low-income schools. This year, we are on track to surpass these numbers, ensuring that even more students experience the far-reaching benefits of arts learning.

Many of our Teaching Artists are in classrooms right now! School districts from McKenzie to Siuslaw are hosting 50 in-school Artist Residencies and 12 performance assemblies this spring alone. Teaching Artists are engaging students in arts programs across many creative disciplines from glass fusion, weaving, and sculpture to acting, salsa dance, fiddle music, song-writing, and so much more!

Please make a donation to Lane Arts Council today to champion the importance of arts and creativity in education and in our communities.
