Calling all Educators and Teaching Artists! The Arts Professional Learning Institute (APLI) deadline has been extended to next Monday, December 4, 2023. Apply now for the opportunity to:

 

  • Get paid to participate in arts-specific professional development.
  • Create peer-reviewed, student-tested lesson plans.
  • Receive a free, three-day residency for your school.
  • Learn to create an inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment.

 

This paid opportunity is an incredible way to collaborate with like-hearted individuals, create art in a welcoming, inclusive environment, and develop your instruction all with student benefit in mind! Stipend amount is $3,465 for teaching artists and $1,100 for school educators.  A travel stipend will be provided for in-person events.


APLI welcomes candidates of all art forms (visual, performing, literary, media arts) and backgrounds (race, religion, national origin, age, disability, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or veteran status). Applicants must have one-to-five years of experience in education and live or work in the state of New Jersey.
