Grant Funding Available for Arts-Related Small Businesses & Nonprofits
Applications are available beginning June 24 for the County’s Arts-Related Small Business and Nonprofit Grant Relief Program, designed to support qualifying arts-related small businesses and nonprofits impacted by COVID-19.

Grand awards range from $5,000 to $12,000 for nonprofits based on organizational revenue and $5,000 to $20,000 for small businesses based on the number of full-time equivalent employees.

Awardees will be reimbursed for eligible expenses incurred from January 1, 2021 to present. Awards will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

The application period opens at 9 am on Thursday, June 21 at charitableventuresoc.org/artsreliefd5.
Next Document Shredding Event Set for June 26
In an effort to help prevent identity theft, the City of Laguna Niguel and Police Services will host a free Drive-through Document Shredding Event on Saturday, June 26 from 7 am to noon (or until trucks reach full capacity) at the Sea Country Senior & Community Center, 24602 Aliso Creek Road.

Business owners and residents can bring up to 10 banker boxes per carload. 

For your safety and the safety of others, County COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Folks should wear a face covering and stay inside their vehicle. Place all items for shredding in the trunk or rear compartment for staff to remove.

Remove notebooks, folders, binding clips or any heavy metal clasps before bringing items for shredding. Documents with staples or standard paper clips are OK.
