Artsy Boxes Phase 2!! Final Call to Participate

The Franklin Cultural District invites you to participate in the Artsy Box Project 2024, funded by the Mass Cultural Council and the Town of Franklin.


The Artsy Box Project 2024 designs due February 21, 2024 at 3:00pm. Artwork and assignments will be evaluated by the Franklin Cultural District Committee and Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) for the Town of Franklin. 

Submissions are due by February 21st 2024 @3pm. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE REVIEWED. Artists will be notified of selections by March 15th, 2024.

Saturday, February 24, 9:30am to 2:30pm, Color Theory Workshop. The Franklin Art Association invites you to a Color Theory workshop on to be held at the Franklin TV Community Room. (Raindate March 2) The workshop will be taught by Christine Blue Lamb Toubeau, a professional painter and longtime color enthusiast. The workshop is limited to 8 people. Each participant will be given paint, color wheel handouts and a 12” x 12” cotton canvas panel. All participants should bring a paint palette at least 14 inches or more (clean and white if possible), a large water can, two medium size brushes along with their lunch. Fee for the workshop is $60 per student for the 5 hour skills teaching.
