First Year Science Timetables
Example timetables are now up on our website. Please note that depending on the science courses you are taking you MUST be following one of these plans. Students interested in Life Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry MUST be following Timetable A.

Heading to West Campus.
Hey first year Science students! Are you wondering how to get to west campus? Here is one of our faculty members taking the bus there so you know exactly what to expect. Remember it is just a little too far for a back to back class on main, so schedule in time for catching the bus, or taking the gorgeous 15 minute walk!

Math 121: Which section is right for you?
When you look on SOLUS you may have noticed that we have different sections for MATH 121, and they have varying amounts of lecture times. This is because section 001 follows Timetable A with professor Troy Day, and sections 002/003 follow Timetable B&C with professor Alan Ableson. Here is Professor Ableson speaking more in regards to which section you should be taking and following the science timetables .

Also one of our students has created a Youtube page with some really great content regarding First Year registration. Check out their channel here.

Reserve Capacities and Waitlists
Reserve Capacity
When enrolling in your classes, you may notice that some courses have enrolment restrictions (reserves) on them. This is to ensure that the students who require those courses for their programs have priority to the classes. For instance, some science courses will be reserved for students in the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Computing programs.  If you are trying to enroll in a class, and you receive an error message stating that the class is "reserved", don't fret.  Reserve capacity restrictions on first year classes will change at noon on July 23.  At that time, any first year Arts and Science student can enroll in those classes.

Waitlists
All single-term Arts and Science classes have been set up with waiting lists. If the class you are trying to add is full you can join the waitlist for that class. For more information on Waitlists, visit our website here.
