More than $1.5 million in relief assistance has been or will be distributed to local artists and arts organizations, and the community has taken note of Arts Orange County's role in advocating for the public funding, raising private funds, and distributing some of the funds through the OC Arts and Culture Resilience Fund, Arts in partnership with Charitable Ventures and the Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF). The OC Arts and Culture Resilience Fund continues to accept donations to enable it to meet the needs of more individual artists and the local arts organizations that hire them. Community members are encouraged to donate here.

The City of Santa Ana has announced a $500,000 COVID-19 Arts Relief Fund that will assist individual artists and nonprofit arts-related organizations within the City of Santa Ana. Applications have now opened here. The program is being managed by OC Arts and Culture Resilience Fund with CARES Act funds from the City of Santa Ana. NEW CHAIR AT NEWPORT BEACH ARTS COMMISSION
Marie Little
Marie Little has been elected Chair of Newport Beach's City Arts Commission. Little completed her first term on the City Arts Commission in June, and was reappointed by the City Council to serve another four years. During 2018 and 2019, she served in several leadership positions; both as Chair and Vice Chair of the Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition, Sculpture Exhibition in Civic Center Park and Performing Arts on Balboa Peninsula, as well as Vice Chair of the Arts Commission from August 2019-July 2020.
