This is my invariable advice to people: Learn how to cook- try new recipes,
learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun
!”
- Julia Child, My Life in France

As in cooking, also in art --
learn from your mistakes, be fearless and above all
HAVE FUN!

Sue Potter of British Columbia, Canada has been vacationing at her cabin -- and look
what she's been up to! This lovely little wall hanging paints a very sweet and inviting

Goody Fun Pack!

Goody Fun Pack contains 12-16 assorted colors totaling 3 oz.
Generally we try to send two color swatches from each family of colors, unrolled.
Berries, Summer, Earth, Blues, Greens, Monochrome, etc. giving you a lovely assortment
sample to experiment with! Sometimes you get more of one than the other
but it is ALWAYS a fun pack! Great way to get to know some of our colors!

This darling little wizard was made using wool from the Living Felt Merino Cross Goody Bag;
using both wet and needle felting techniques and was made by
Jessie Dockins of Wildwood, Missouri.

"His belt, cape, and hat were wet felted with purple,
blue, and green wool from the Goody Bag. His body, robe, and boots were needle felted.
He has brown glass eyes. I felted his body onto pipe cleaners so he is slightly poseable.
He carries a wooden staff with a tiny piece of quartz wedged in the notch at the top.
Including his hat, he stands about 11 inches tall. He was a gift for my husband and such a joy to make!"

Merino Cross Studio Packs
are a great way to build up your wool color palette and a great starter
for a themed project!

Needle Felting Finger Protector

We love this high-quality Finger Protector, tested (with trepidation)
in Living Felt R&D and found that this little tool REALLY works well!

Highly recommended for the novice and professional alike.
Protect your valuable hands. Felting needles are very sharp and this is a great
way to keep your fingers safe and healthy while you have fun!

Try your hand at a sweet project like this great jewelry combo,
what a great and heart felt gift!

"This was my first attempt at a matching brooch and necklace for a friend
who is returning to South Africa having been in the Uk for 12 years,
I will really miss her.
"

Sarah Veness, UK

Leedra Scott uses her needle felting skills for lovely
embellishments on her knitted work.

"I knitted the felted this purse. I spent one day needle felting the flowers,
another day needle felting the butterfly. My husband made the button from a storm damaged walnut tree."

- Leedra Mize Scott New Market, Tennessee
