This Sunday in worship, we'll be continuing our story through the Book of Jonah. Jonah, now having reached dry land, moves forward with the mission God has placed before him and goes to Ninevah to warn the people of God's impending judgment.

We are left to reconcile with whose side we should be on: Jonah's? God's? The Ninevites? How do we understand God's justice, and how does this story impact our own lives of faith? We have our own notions of how justice should be carried out, but what does God's justice look like? What does forgiveness look like? What does repentance look like?

Listen to Pastor Jeff as he talks about this and more in his video this week. We hope to see you all on Sunday morning in worship at 9 and 11 am!

Pastor Jeff is planning to attend the workshop in Lawrence on March 28, and Pastor Daekyung will be one of the hosts as a Justice and Mercy team member. Contact Phyllis Williams (phyllisw@visitasbury.org) once you've registered through the link below!
