This Saturday (September 19), Asbury's Health Ministry team is holding a collection for the Ripple Community Center. Ripple Community Center is an Allentown outreach that supports Allentown residents Including people experiencing homelessness, housing instability, socially isolated, with a history of trauma or mental illness, and the working poor.
The collection is taking place from noon until 2 PM in the lower parking lot (near Wesley Center).
There will be someone to accept your items, following all the current guidelines for social distancing.

Ramos Elementary Work Day
Next Saturday, September 26, the annual Ramos Work Day to clean the grounds and re-mulch the playground, is being held from 9 AM - noon. The guidelines for masks, distancing, and participant limits will be followed. Sign up at asburylv.org/RamosWorkDay. Rain date is October 3.
Flu Shots Offered via Asbury Health Ministry
Asbury's Health Ministry is offering flu shots on Sunday, October 4, from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Asbury's campus (location TBA). Shots will be free to those with Medicare Part B. A high-dose vaccine will be available. All CDC guidelines will be followed.
The initial schedule has been released for the UMW Bazaar! The first phase of the event begins tomorrow with the Beans and Bean Soup sale. Also, if you have used clothing and winter coats that you'd be willing to donate a collection day will be held on Saturday, October 24, to send to our brothers & sisters in Liberia.
Please note that all drop-off and pick-up events are subject to to the continued approval of the church Trustees and Council, the Church being generally open for worship services, and/or state, federal and county government dictated COVID-19 requirements.
