Many people in our nation today struggle with various addictions -  drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling etc. These addictions rob us of the life God intended and they hurt our relationships with God and others.  So how can Jesus followers respond?

Join us on Sunday as Pastor Eric will talk with licensed professional counselor Gregory A. Krausz, MA, CACD, LPC regarding a Christian perspective on addiction.

Advent is a time of preparation as we await the coming of Christ at Christmas. We pray you'll join one of the small groups being offered around the book "Sent: Delivering the Gift of Hope at Christmas", which Pastor Eric is also using as the basis for his Advent sermon series.

There are 9 different groups being held throughout the weeks leading up to Advent - plenty of options to choose from! Take a moment to find the group that's best-suited for you and register at

The "Thanks for Giving" Food and Supply Drive to benefit the Allentown Rescue Mission begins this Sunday, November 15, and concludes at 10 AM on November 22. Drop off your donations in the bin outside the door to the upper level 24/7 (but prior to 10 AM on Sunday, November 22nd). Any donations of canned food and cleaning supplies are welcome, but most needed this year are single serve drinks, breakfast juice of any size or flavor, single serve snacks (granola bars, cereal bars, chips, cookies), soup of any size or flavor, coffee, bleach, toilet paper, paper towels. The Rescue Mission is most appreciative of Asbury's support over the years. In 2019, more than 40,000 meals were served. For more information on the Allentown Rescue Mission, visit
Sarah Circle Meeting
Sarah Circle will meet in Deb McCleary's garage on Wednesday, November 18th at 6:30 PM. Meeting access is limited to 8 (excluding host and leader). Masks will be worn and social distancing followed. Access via Zoom will be offered to those who choose to stay home or cannot attend in person. If you are not currently a member of Sarah Circle, but would like to join the meeting, contact the group.

Health Ministries' Team Health Needs Assessment
Asbury's Health Ministry team strives to integrate health and faith through encouraging individuals to live healthier lives. They attempt to guide personal health through counseling, education and referrals to community resources.

Please consider completing the Health Ministry Team survey as they determine what programs and services they can offer to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs you and your family may have.
