Suicide is a major public health concern. Suicide is among the leading causes of death in the United States and based on recent nationwide surveys, suicide in some populations is on the rise. Suicide affects many families in our nation today.  Join us this week as we look at a Spiritual Perspective on suicide and how to minister to families affected by this tragedy.

Join us this Sunday as Pastor Eric continues "The Caring Congregationsermon series.

Parents: The topic of this week's message is a painfully real part of our world; and one that may be especially sensitive for children and teenagers. We encourage you to use your discretion regarding your family and the appropriateness of this subject when viewing this message.  As always, the worship service will be made available for replay should you wish to view the message on your own to determine whether or not it may be appropriate to also view with your child or teenager at a later time.

As Asbury's leadership plans for Christmas Eve in the midst of the ongoing pandemic, we need your input.

Our main offering on Christmas Eve will be a streaming-only service; but we're asking you to complete a survey to gauge interest in one or more in-person services as our leadership makes plans for the celebration of the coming of our King.

Please only provide one response per household.

The survey will be available until noon on Wednesday, November 11.

The survey can be accessed at asburylv.org/CEsurvey.

Health Needs Assessment

Asbury's Health Ministry team strives to integrate health and faith through encouraging individuals to live healthier lives. They attempt to guide personal health through counseling, education and referrals to community resources. As we enter November and begin a new care-centered sermon series, the Health Ministry Team would like to determine how they can help you and your family.

Please consider completing the Health Ministry Team survey as they determine what programs and services they can offer to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs you and your family may have.

All responses are confidential.

Visit asburylv.org/healthsurvey to complete the assessment.
