Denver, CO - Ascendant Partners served as the exclusive advisor to Zea10, LLC on its growth equity investment from a Leading Global CPG Company. Zea10's mission is to provide sustainable nutrition to serve the world's growing need for protein and fiber ingredients with pleasant tasting, nutritious and highly sustainable products. The growth capital will be used to position Zea10 to take advantage of the attractive market opportunity as a leading provider of non-GMO plant-based protein and fiber food ingredients.
Zea10 has developed a proprietary means to convert relatively low value spent barley grains from the brewing industry into high value, non-GMO concentrated protein and fiber ingredients. Zea10's vision is to work with the brewing industry to develop and manage bolt-on facilities to convert this abundant, low value by-product into higher value protein and fiber ingredients for human consumption. Zea10's business model minimizes capital investment and offers a scalable platform for profitable growth.
