The 2023 Women in Leadership Award will be presented at the Women in Business Luncheon on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Registration and more details about our 2023 Women in Business event will be on our website soon!

SMART START BREAKFAST

Thank to you to the Parish of Ascension for hosting our recent Smart Start Breakfast at the Lamar Dixon Banquet Hall! We had a great morning networking with members. March Session Recap:

LEADERSHIP ASCENSION: EDUCATION

Education was the topic for the March Leadership Ascension class. They started the day at River Parishes Community College with a warm welcome from Chancellor Quintin Taylor and a tour of the campus. The class members then departed in groups to visit several Ascension Parish Public School sites, and other locations of APSB, such as the Supply Chain Distribution Center and LeBlanc Special Services. A yummy nacho lunch was provided at Central Middle School where the class listened to speeches from Child Nutrition Supervisor Leuna Johnson, Asst. Superintendent A. Denise Graves, Chief Instructional Director Edith Walker, and Chief Operations Director Chad Lynch. The class spent time asking questions of the speakers and giving reports on their school visits. Our parish is so very fortunate to have RPCC and our Ascension Parish Public School system!
