Welcome to the Rev. Mark Brown

We welcome back Fr. Mark Brown. He will be preaching and celebrating with us for the next few weeks at the 10:30 service. Fr. Mark is a husband and father, CEO of WHAM, a reserve deputy sheriff, and recent doctoral graduate. Be sure to say hi and introduce yourself.  

Shrove Tuesday

Thank you to all who helped prepare and thank you to all who came to enjoy. It is always a pleasure to serve in fellowship and to share a meal.

Campus Workday

Join us on April 5th for some landscaping and campus clean-up, so bring your rakes, shovels, and hardworking attitudes, and let's welcome spring!  

Reestablishing the LEV ministry

We are reestablishing the LEV, Lay Eucharistic Visitor, ministry. This ministry brings communion to those who are unable to attend church. It is vital that we keep contact with our homebound parishioners during this transition time. We are seeking individuals who are interested, training will be available. Please speak with Sam in the office or Tom Sutton.

Donate a Lily

There are no flowers on the Altar during Lent. However, come Easter, the Altar will be overflowing with beautiful Easter lilies. Please donate a lily and write your special dedication in the flower book or send it to the office (office@ascensionepiscopalchurch.org).

Easter Music Needs Underwriters

Please make an offering to help underwrite the Easter Musicians. They were wonderful at Christmas and we look forward to a repeat performance. Donations may be dedicated in memory of, in honor of, in thanksgiving for, etc., and will be acknowledged in the Easter orders of service. Donations will be accepted through Easter, but in order for the dedication to appear in the bulletin, it must be received by the office no later than April 14th. Please email the church office (office@ascensionepiscopalchurch.org). Tuesday Evening Bible Study

Join us at 6:30pm for the Tuesday Evening Bible Study. A zoom link is HERE available for those who wish to attend, but cannot do so in person.

Women's Tuesday Bible Study, 1pm

 The Women's Tuesday Bible Study is a group of amazing women, led by amazing women. Join these ladies every Tuesday at 1pm! Toyin Agboola guides this Bible Study in a safe trustworthy setting as they learn about the Bible. Julie Collins keeps things organized on the administration side, sending out emails, reminders, and the weekly Zoom link. You can contact her at collins_collins@comcast.net and she will happily get you into the swing of things, or just come by!!
